Agape Community Ministries is seeking clergy and faith leaders who are interested in joining a one year cohort designed to prepare leaders to develop lessons/sermons, teaching, and support systems for survivors, family members, and those affected by domestic and sexual abuse. In this cohort you will strengthen your relationships with other leaders as you walk the same path, while encouraging your congregation to awareness of abuse, healing, learning to partner with local violence prevention agencies, and helping others in our communities find peace and healthy relationships in a spiritual community.
Outline of Cohort
In person meetings: 9am-2pm = August, September, January, March, May (Lunch provided)
Online Coaching/Zoom meetings: 1 hour = September, November, December, February, April, May
On site visit from teachers/coaches for sermons or classes = October and April
Celebration Dinner = May/June (Dinner provided)
Students receive 4 free books during this cohort
Students will have the option to serve as coaches the following year
